Wikipedia edit: Moneyball
today i made my first edit to the Wikipedia article on Moneyball, which is a style of baseball management employed by many teams across the majors, including the Red Sox of course, or else i probably wouldn't be editing the article in the first place. all i did was to add a little piece to the central premise of the concept of Moneyball. This managing style places greater emphasis on stats such as slugging percentage and on base percentage. i added that there isn't a lot of sacrificing at all, because the team would rather wait for a homerun or big hit to score runs instead of waste an at bat with a sacrifice bunt.
