Survey Monkey

The last lecture briefly covered research on the internet, including Survey Monkey as an online survey tool. Interestingly, in my ENGL312 class, i am involved in a service learning project through the Center for Disabilities Studies (CDS) in which our task is to market an online survey created with Survey Monkey to families with children with disabilities. The survey looks into the possibilities of starting some after school and summer programs for these children. We have to look into the problem of creating awareness of this survey and possibly access to it for those families that don't have access to the internet. Another class member, Sharon, is also in my group and I see that she beat me to posting about it, but we both met with the contact person at the CDS and are starting to think about ways to reach these families and get as many of them to respond to the survey as possible. It will be a good experience working with this survey and see how the marketing field is changing right before our eyes.
